Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Clinical Patrol in North Bethesda, MD. You will safeguard clients across various government facilities and participate in flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities include delivering customer service, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and monitoring access points in line with site policies. A background check and drug screen are required by law.

Security Officer Clinical Patrol

As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol in North Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such such as Government, and more. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site‑specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear, timely activity and incident reports, documenting observations, patrols, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• Have at least 5 years of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
