Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government motor vehicle services location by following site procedures and security protocols.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of public service areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors to service areas while reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation for incidents, patrols, and daily security activities per Allied Universal/site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government motor vehicle services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public service areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate service areas while reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and daily security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
