Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution with security procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility, parking areas, and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within and around the location, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
