Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Philadelphia, PA. You will provide customer service, conduct ongoing patrols, and deter security incidents while upholding our values and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors by following site-specific security procedures.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and staff/workers access.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate patrol observations to leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, employee access, and the reporting of suspicious activity or facility concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents, patrol observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
