Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Services in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Age Requirement:

  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for employment (C101).

• Driver's License:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.

• Educational Verification:

  • Candidates must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client (C137). Acceptable documentation includes:
    • Official high school transcripts
    • GED certificate
    • State-issued diploma

• Experience Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess the following experience:
    • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
    • Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
    • Customer Service Experience (B219)

• Physical Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 20 lbs (B208) as part of their job responsibilities. This requirement will be assessed during the interview process.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare-related environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
