Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Campus Mobile Patrol in North Haven, CT for a part-time healthcare site. You will patrol, deter security issues, and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. A valid driver’s license is required to perform driving duties.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

• Employment may be subject to drug screening and licensing requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting hazards, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
