Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol for a part-time role in Wakefield, RI. You will patrol healthcare locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, conducting regular patrols, and managing access points with clear reporting to leadership. The position offers flexible scheduling and integration with our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
