Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Call Center Overnights in Phoenix, AZ to serve employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and media location. You will coordinate alarm and access-control activity, monitor dispatch, and relay information to on-site teams in a calm, professional manner.

The Part-Time role offers Tue/Wed 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM shifts, a pay rate of $22.00 per hour, and opportunities to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor dispatch communications, incoming calls, alarm notifications, and service requests; document and route information to appropriate personnel and/or responding resources.
• Coordinate security-related responses to incidents, access concerns, facility issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, activity records, and shift handoff information in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
