Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Surveillance Concierge in Phoenix, AZ. You will monitor and patrol healthcare facilities and other sites, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The role is part-time with a flexible schedule. Pay rate is $17.01 per hour, and applicants may be subject to background checks, drug screening, and licensing requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, and critical events calmly and with established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Document and report incidents and security concerns to Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document and report incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
