Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Building Surveillance in Mesa, AZ. You will perform unarmed patrols at an automotive location, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain clear, professional communication with staff and visitors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to use a computer or tablet, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. This is a full-time daytime to evening shift with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
