Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter; report issues.
• Monitor access by checking credentials, verifying visitor/contractor authorization, and maintaining entry/exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and responders as directed.
• Complete accurate incident reports and logs per Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
