Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Bike Patrol Security Officer for University City, Philadelphia, PA. You will patrol campus areas by bike, maintain a visible presence, and help deter incidents while delivering friendly customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

You will join a dynamic team that values reliability, integrity, and teamwork, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to engage in additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifikationen

• Background check and drug screen required.
• 21 years of age or older for unarmed roles.

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Preferred: ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Preferred: ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
