Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Bicycle Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA. You will provide high-quality customer service while patrolling campus grounds on foot and by bicycle, deterring incidents and maintaining a visible presence for students, staff, and visitors.

You must have security experience, be able to ride a bike, and meet minimum requirements. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to learn and grow within a leading security firm.

Qualifications

• Must be able to ride a bike and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with campus personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns as required.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus guests while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating with appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
