Allied Universal in Tampa, FL is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer for a bank setting. The role offers reliable hours with the option to pick up additional shifts through our platform, and a base pay of $18.49 per hour.

Fixed shifts and opportunities to advance to full-time are available as you build experience. The position requires minimum 6 months of security-related experience, with preferred CPR/First Aid certification and badge/Access control experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor visitor access and report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.

As a Security Officer - Bank Settingin Tampa, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, access points, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor access and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security‑related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
