Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Bank Branch Part Time in the Bronx, NY. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service at a financial institution, respond to incidents, patrol the facility, monitor access, and report incidents. Minimum 1 year of security experience is required; CPR/First Aid is preferred; 18+ or 21+ depending on role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and report suspicious persons, conditions, or activities to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.

As a Security Officer - Bank Branch Part Timein Bronx, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:15 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
