Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Compliance in Bronx, NY. You will maintain access-control procedures, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents to keep occupants safe.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, staff, and tenants by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to established building procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned commercial property areas, including entrances, common spaces, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Compliance in Bronx, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.83 - $18.53 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
