The Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting organizational assets, inventory, facilities, and team members at Corewell Health's Consolidated Service Center. This position is primarily focused on asset protection, loss prevention, risk mitigation, and security operations within a large warehouse and distribution environment. Responsibilities include monitoring facility access, conducting patrols, investigating suspicious activity, preventing theft and unauthorized removal of property, monitoring security systems, supporting inventory protection efforts, and responding to security incidents. The Security Officer works closely with operational teams to identify potential risks, maintain a secure workplace, and protect the organization's resources. This role is ideal for candidates with experience or interest in loss prevention, asset protection, warehouse security, retail investigations, distribution center security, or law enforcement. Successful candidates demonstrate strong observational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively identify and address security concerns.
