Job summary

Allied Universal in Blountstown, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Arrival Screening to protect clients and maintain safe access. You will screen individuals, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents with professional service and clear communication.

As a Screener, you will play a key role in supporting a controlled corrections location by monitoring access points, screening individuals and belongings, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, help to deter incidents, and provide clear communication and customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals entering the location in accordance with established access-control procedures and site requirements.
• Monitor entry points, observe visitor activity, and report unusual or prohibited activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
