• Screen individuals and belongings entering the government facility using screening equipment and procedures; report prohibited items and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify visitor access requirements and direct guests to appropriate locations, maintaining a professional presence at entry points.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following post instructions and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry areas and public spaces to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.

You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, document activity, and respond to concerns in accordance with site procedures. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering the government facility using assigned screening equipment and procedures; report prohibited items, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify visitor access requirements, direct guests to appropriate locations, and maintain a professional, courteous presence at assigned entry points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas, public spaces, and perimeter locations as directed to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
