Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Screener Security Officer in Kissimmee, FL. You will provide security and customer service at a government location, supporting a safe, welcoming environment.

This role offers flexible scheduling with evening shifts and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company. Prior security experience is preferred; a guard card is recommended, and compliance with background checks applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report suspicious activity and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
