Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures, referring prohibited items or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements while maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of security‑related experience, or a college degreein criminal justice.
• A guard card or license is required.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
