Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Melbourne, FL. You will patrol and monitor aerospace/defense facilities, control access, and provide exceptional customer service with a visible security presence.

Active DoD Secret Clearance is required; two years of security experience is expected. The role includes standard shift hours and a dynamic, safety-focused team environment at Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Security Clearance in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a collaborative team. Pay Rate: $19.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:01 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
