As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense billing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting discrepancies and directing individuals as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
