Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer to protect client sites at a financial institution and other premises. You will patrol, deter threats, and provide courteous customer service while enforcing site policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Pepper spray certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and activity logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business offices, customer areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and activity logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
