Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Riviera Beach, FL. You will provide security for an aerospace/defense site, monitoring areas, patrolling, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years in security-related fields, an armed guard card, and an active DoD Secret Clearance. Must be 21+, high school diploma or equivalent, and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; DD214, associate degree, or police/corrections academy certificate accepted.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace/defense location by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors per site requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports; communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required records while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
