Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Response with DoD Secret Clearance for the Riviera Beach, FL aerospace/defense location. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a strong security presence.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DD214 with honorable discharge or equivalent certification (e.g., associate degree, 60 college credits, police academy, or corrections academy).
• 2+ years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report anomalies per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted-access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report access irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation and promptly communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
