As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control Operations in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a highly visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a critical technology infrastructure location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, cameras, alarms, and other site systems; document observations and report irregularities through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Carry authorized firearms and other assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policy, and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
