Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following armed post orders and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
