Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Route Patrol Driver) in Glen Burnie, MD. You will perform routine unarmed patrols at a retail location, provide exceptional customer service, and help deter security-related incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required, with background checks and drug screening as part of employment. Position offers part-time hours with daytime evening shifts and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss prevention concerns, reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:
