Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations in Miami, FL to monitor and protect transit facilities and communities. The role requires armed duties, strong customer service, and adherence to safety procedures.

You will patrol, respond to incidents, deter unauthorized access, and document observations while supporting a welcoming environment. Minimum requirements include 3 years of relevant experience or a college degree, an armed guard card, and possibly baton and CPR

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a public transit environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and assist passengers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. Pay Rate: $27.01 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, passengers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, prohibited conduct, and potential security-related concerns through a visible presence and timely reporting.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
