Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or possess a college degree in criminal justice.
• 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Armed guard card or license (preferred).
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of financial institution locations, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation of incidents and patrol activities.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution locations, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or possess a college degree in criminal justice.
• Have 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Possess an armed guard card or license, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
