Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Flex in Land O Lakes, FL. This part‑time role offers flexible hours and a fixed anchor shift with a six month commitment. You may pick up additional shifts to increase earnings through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $23.25 per hour with a path to full‑time opportunities. The job focuses on visitor/customer service, access control, and responding to incidents while maintaining strict safety standards.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen visitors as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry out armed post duties in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and site requirements.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
