• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Participate in security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public at government facilities by following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter locations; report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and per protocols, coordinating with relevant personnel and agencies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to maintain orderly entry and exit at government locations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation regarding patrols, incidents, and security activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, or facility hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and public-service agencies.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit at government locations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
