Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Camden, AR to patrol and protect aerospace/defense locations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

The role requires background in law enforcement or security, an armed guard license, and a DoD Secret clearance. You will work full time with pay rate $23.75/hour and regular day shifts, earning eligibility for additional shifts through our tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ year law enforcement or security-related experience.
• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver's license per policy.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors; follow site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations with calm professionalism; coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, perimeter and other assigned areas.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports; maintain required documentation.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Security Clearance Reporting in CAMDEN, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
