Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Handle authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
