Allied Universal is seeking an Elite Armed Security Officer - Part Time Flex in San Antonio, TX. This role offers flexible fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts, and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

The position supports retail locations with patrols, access control, incident response, and strong customer service. A six-month fixed shift commitment is required, with potential to scale up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with management and first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, deliveries, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities while following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Part Time Flex in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Fri: 04:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
