Allied Universal in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Security Flex Officer - Armed Part Time to provide reliable, schedule-flexible security at an assigned site. You will carry out security procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain daily activity logs while working daytime to late evening shifts.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, a Texas Level III Armed Guard, and a high school diploma.

• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily security activities.

As a Security Flex Officer - Armed Part Time in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following site‑specific procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
