Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow armed officer protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and security concerns.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Asset Protection in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Professional at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established armed officer protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
