Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Response Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and legal requirements.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
