Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX. You will provide security for client sites, conduct armed patrols, and maintain a professional, customer-focused demeanor at all times.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification, with a background check and drug screen. You will work a daytime schedule with extensive on-site patrol duties for a grocery retail location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales floors, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain a visible armed patrol presence to help deter unauthorized activity, theft-related incidents, and other security‑related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and hazards to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer as a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
