Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for Little Rock, AR. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents at an emergency healthcare location.

Primary responsibilities include responding to incidents, guiding staff and visitors, and documenting activities in accordance with post orders. Must hold a CPO certification and an armed guard card; 21+ with HS diploma required.

• Must possess access-control experience and badge handling.
• Armed security knowledge and post orders familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site-specific procedures.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related policies at an emergency healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site procedures; complete accurate incident and patrol documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
