Qualifications

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation per laws; drug screen as permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver's license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies; follow post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; direct authorized personnel and report unusual conditions.
• Carry authorized equipment and complete incident and patrol documentation.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related policies at an emergency healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site procedures; complete accurate incident and patrol documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
