Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Field Patrol in Buzzards Bay, MA to safeguard government facilities. Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Firearms permit preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government military location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by checking credentials, controlling entry and exit, and documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal, client, and applicable legal requirements, and complete required activity reports and shift documentation.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
