Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for Buzzards Bay, MA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, enabling flexible earnings while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response in Buzzards Bay, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or authorized guests while carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and vehicle activity records, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; coordinate with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security‑related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Possess at least six months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
