Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Armed Patrol Enhanced Part Time in Buzzards Bay, MA. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and grow toward a full-time schedule.

Pay rate is $23.00 per hour. The position requires an Armed Guard Card, 6 months of armed security experience, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a valid firearms permit preferred. Applicants undergo background checks and drug screening as required by law.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Enhanced Part Time in Buzzards Bay, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government military location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, incident reports, and patrol logs, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
