Job summary

• Complete incident reports and patrol logs and communicate findings to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Raymondville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store personnel, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, delivery areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, theft-related concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
