As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Kenansville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to emerging situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to motorists, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned roadways, toll areas, parking locations, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, hazardous roadway conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, traffic-related emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures and applicable laws.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
