Allied Universal Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Katy, TX provides armed protection for retail locations. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, Texas Level III Armed Certification, and background checks. You will drive between posts, monitor access points, and respond to incidents promptly while upholding company policies.

Formación

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license per policy.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Minimum age 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

• Conduct armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales areas and entrances.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Katy, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, company policies, and site procedures related to armed post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
