Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Part Time Perimeter Patrol in Orlando, FL. You will provide security services across government facilities, patrol perimeters, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents with professional calm and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access protocols at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; assist guests to appropriate offices and services.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports; communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests to appropriate public offices and services.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; promptly communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
