Job summary

Allied Universal is recruiting for a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Culpeper, VA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while you gain experience across sites.

You’ll perform armed patrols, client service, and incident response, following site policies and safety procedures as part of a flexible, dependable schedule in healthcare surroundings.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, residents, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, using de‑escalation techniques and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, observe and report unusual activity, and document incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and post orders.

As a Security Officer Armed Healthcare Patrol Driver Enhanced Part Time in CULPEPER, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 01:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
